Hi Bill. I am gutted about what corus did. It's an absolute joke how they first off dropped you, then the entire chml 900. I believe it is the most disrespectful thing a company could do.
I stopped listening to all of my fm stations because they all play the same 30 songs on repeat. No more DJs playing live Friday night shows or request nights. They took away the fun of radio. I hope you and all of your old colleges continue on with what you did best. I believe you will all be better off. My family and myself will continue to listen to your show and the others if they decide to continue with that journey. Cheers Bill.
I was disappointed that CHML was abruptly shut down without any advanced warning for listeners. I and other Hamilton residents appreciated having a radio station that they could turn to for local news and information, as well as talk programming with discussions about current affairs.
I agree completely Bill, l think there is something they could have done to make the CHML ship seaworthy again. I am going to miss all the personalities l always listened to, even when my alarm went off at 5:30 then 6:30 in the morning. I know the world is changing and maybe ML should have been a totally online station, although not sure that would have been possible. Maybe Rick, Shiona, and the two Scotts will become online personalities like yourself. Wishing you well. Tc and may God bless. Sincerely Carl French Hamilton Ontario

I am sure that CHML will be missed.
