The European Union has (finally!) decided to stand up to Trump’s tariffs after another insane tariff threat by the US Administration. In response to auto tariffs being raised arbitrarily to 25%, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen  said they are willing to fight for a fair deal, as major EU auto makers are reportedly threatening to pull their cheaper vehicle alternatives from the US market in retaliation.
